There are few things more frustrating than having a sick child and sitting in a waiting room for over an hour waiting for treatment. Dr. Mantell knows children and what they need. She and her husband have four children and she is the Unity High School team physician. She grew up in Philo, Illinois and understands how being just a number in a big impersonal clinic goes against the grain. A sense of community is about more than just where you live. It's how you live.

As a graduate as the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Mantell has the knowledge and skills to go anywhere in the country to practice medicine. She chose Philo for a reason. She believes it's time for Care to be as important as Medical when it comes to getting medical care for you and your family. From newborn care to Medicare, she'll care for you.
